Maintaining Accounting Records
You are free to choose the method in which to maintain your accounting records. You may wish to use our simple Excel based spreadsheet or our online accounting system. Whichever method you prefer, all we ask is for you to submit details of your sales, expenses and bank entries regularly, every month or quarter.
VAT
We shall advise you on various matters relating to VAT including whether operating under the Flat Rate Scheme is suitable. We are also happy to prepare your quarterly VAT Returns following complete, accurate and timely submission of your accounting information. We deal with all general correspondence with HM Revenue & Customs on VAT tax matters as your appointed agent.
Payroll
We process your company’s payroll according to your individual circumstances and exposure to IR35 legislation. Payroll is processed as per the PAYE system. Details of income tax, national insurance deductions and net pay are provided quarterly along with instructions for making quarterly PAYE and NI payments to HM Revenue & Customs. We deal with all general correspondence with HM Revenue & Customs on PAYE matters as your appointed agent.
Dividend Administration
We’ll help with the calculation and administration when distributing profits as dividends. The approach taken will be appropriate to your individual circumstances and your exposure to IR35 legislation.
End of Year Accounts
As part of our monthly fee, we shall prepare your limited company’s annual financial statements and ensure compliance with the statutory disclosure requirements. An abbreviated form is produced for filing with Companies House while the full version is submitted to HM Revenue & Customs.
Corporation Tax
As part of our monthly fee, we shall calculate your limited company’s annual Corporation Tax liability and prepare the Corporation Tax Return with supporting workings. We’ll help with the filing to HM Revenue & Customs and help you to organise payment of any tax liabilities due. We deal with all general correspondence with HM Revenue & Customs on corporation tax matters as your appointed agent.
Companies House
Company secretarial services are also provided. These are limited company matters relevant to Companies House, including:

Annual Returns filed in a hard copy is £30. We are able to submit Annual returns online and you benefit from a reduced online filing fee of £14. Please note this fee is additional to our monthly fee.
PAYE Year-end
As your limited company will operate the PAYE scheme, end of year Returns will need to be filed. Our monthly fee includes assistance with the preparation of these forms and their submission to HM Revenue & Customs.
Self Assessment Tax Returns
We include the completion of the Self Assessment Tax Return (2011-12) for one director within the monthly fee. This will be based on a questionnaire being completed along with details being forwarded to us.
We are happy to deal with all general correspondence with HM Revenue & Customs on Self Assessment Tax Return tax matters as your appointed agent. We are not responsible for penalties on late or incorrect submission of Returns or interest on late payment of tax due. Investigations arising from undisclosed income or other omissions from any Return and the resultant back duty enquiry are specifically excluded from our monthly fee service.
